Tom and Susan said the cut-off date is July 19 for the August newsletter

Emma reported she is mailing out 9 newsletters for seniors.

Sally said she needs suggestions for the needs of everyone.  She said a puzzle set up in the Community Room for all would be an added feature.  A table with a special board to accommodate large puzzles would be helpful.  She also asked for a volunteer to help sort out the books in the upstairs library and send the excess books to the local library.  The library is in need of more shelves and it was suggested that possibly the Boy Scouts could make some as a summer project.  They are still looking for projects to do.

Jack Bushman asked for volunteers to join him when he goes to the Selectmen's meeting to make a presentation on the STRP Program on July 12.  He said the Selectmen just have to sign off on the program for the increased amount of money to be assigned.  There are 25 in the program now.

Sheila reported that Jean Cahill's letter of resignation from the COA board was received and also Panni Gerken emailed that she was interested in filling the position and the COA all agreed.  Linda Day said the Selectmen will have to sign off on the nomination papers.  Jean was the liaison for Bolton Country Manor so Margaret, because she lives here, will report on upcoming news in that area.  Margaret did report that the building will be having solar panels installed in the near future, also there will be a meeting on July 20 to discuss the new no-smoking on the premesis starting May 1, 2013.  There will also be a monthly coffee hour for the tenants to get to know new residents.

Sheila reported the bus for the Vermont trip will leave promptly at 7:30 from the Trinity Church parking lot on July 11.  Also, Sharon Mandell has a Lazy Boy chair to donate but transportation for pick-up and deliver to the Senior Center will be needed.

The Town Ledger for FY 13 has been approved.
Tai Chi after Yoga lessons on Wednesdays is being looked into.  The Corcoran House will have Bingo at the Center on July 24.
The Martha Vineyard trip is still being checked on for September.
Mass. Audiology will be coming on August 16 from 10 to 12 for 10 minute hearing screenings.
The meeting ended at 11:30.
